Some wines you carry with you not just for their taste, but also for their story. Ubuntu, the white wine from Vineyard St Martinus, is such a wine. A wine that not only lets the Limburg terroir speak but also gives something back to the world. A portion of the proceeds goes to the 2Blossom Foundation, which supports South African schoolchildren with safe after-school care.

That South African element, in turn, fits well with us, because we have taken that country into our hearts. We feel the life principle 'Ubuntu' reflected in the warmth, connection, and care that characterize South Africa for us. And precisely that feeling is captured in this wine.

Ubuntu is a fruity, dry white blend of Chardonnay, Souvignier Gris, and Johanniter. On the nose, you'll find notes of white peach, apricot, and candied orange, aromas that immediately invite tasting. The wine is intense, rich, and elegant, exactly the kind of glass that effortlessly suits fine moments of togetherness.

The wine pairs well with hearty fish dishes or, how could it be otherwise, bobotie, but, in fact, this is also the perfect wine to open on a long summer evening, during a good conversation, or simply when you want to drink something with meaning.
